Learner Agreement
Please read the following document carefully before agreeing to sign. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of centre staff.
- In deciding upon your choice of learning program, you have considered the implications of the following:
- Cost
- Time
- Commitment
- Organisation
- Ability
- Potential & Career Direction
- You have received information about guidance on fee Remission.
- You have received advice and guidance on your learning programme choice and are satisfied that the learning programme is suitable for your needs and abilities. It is your responsibility to confirm that the programmes offered at CTS Education meet the entry requirements of any further education institutions you apply to.
- You will inform CTS Education immediately of any changes in your circumstances.
- You understand that the course fees quoted (in CTS Education Course Guide, on CTS Education websites, by CTS Education staff or via any other means) at the point of registration for the provision of services quoted (as above) are what you are required to pay. CTS Education reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of services provided and the associated fee for those services and /or to exclude learners from provision of services who have not paid the associated fee. You will not have entitlement to any subsequent offer provided by the Centre without explicit agreement between CTS Education and you.
- You understand that the Centre may need to contact yourself; your parents; your employer or other fee sponsoring body with regards to issues such as attendance, conduct, progress etc. Such communication may be via telephone, letter, fax, email, sms or any appropriate means. All information shall be stored and used in accordance to current GDPR legislation.
- All materials are correct at the time of printing, however circumstances beyond the Centre’s control may change the information provided. CTS Education accepts no liability for the accuracy or otherwise of statements appearing in Centre materials that are not directly generated by the Centre, nor will the Centre be responsible for any detriment suffered in reliance on them.
- The Centre may not be able to provide the services or programmes outlined in the Centre materials in a range of circumstances, including: long-term illness of specialist staff; industrial action; severe weather conditions; any circumstances which may affect the Health and Safety of staff or students. This list is not exhaustive. In such circumstances, the Centre reserves the right to withdraw any programme or service.
The 8 points above constitute a learning agreement between the learner, Parent/Guardian, and the Centre and may be amended by additional signed papers.
